We are proud to announce the launch of our new blog! We will use this space to talk about recent projects, design and décor inspiration, our team, our process and other things we hope will interest you. Whether you are a past or present client or are in the process of researching a design build firm, we want you to get to know us better through our blog posts. For this inaugural blog post, we wanted to provide a brief overview of our company. Don Sazama started Sazama Design Build Remodel LLC in 1987 with a goal to bring an uncommon level of service to the greater Milwaukee area. Don is a Master Carpenter, though his role has evolved over the decades to focus more closely on architectural design. Don’s son, Mike, continues the Sazama legacy by managing the day-to-day operations. Carlos has been our Project Manager for over 20 years and manages projects onsite to ensure that there are no surprises. Sara and Tom, our Project Coordinators, design cohesive spaces and oversee the layout, architectural details and product selections. The rest of our office staff focuses on communicating with our clients and aims to keep projects on time and on budget. Onsite, we have a talented group of craftsmen who keep projects safe, clean and of the highest quality. We love to brag about our wonderful staff and will publish Staff Spotlights in the near future.

We then create plans and 3-D renderings to help you visualize the potential of your space. Once the project starts, Carlos ensures that the remodeling process is as unobtrusive as possible to your home life; installing temporary doors with keypads, creating dust barriers and scheduling around your timeline. You can watch the remodeling process unfold with up to the minute information on your online client account, where project photos and updates are posted. This interactive project management allows you to have all of your project information at your fingertips, in one convenient location. We know home remodeling can be stressful so we work hard to create a positive experience for all of our Homeowners. We are proud to have many repeat clients, as well as many referrals.
